When using a high-purity hydrogen generator, the specific steps are as follows:
1. Open the packaging box, take out the high-purity hydrogen generator, check the appearance of the instrument, and verify the packing list.
2. Add electrolyte: Dilute and dissolve analytical pure potassium hydroxide with distilled water, cool it down, and inject it into the liquid tank through the inlet with a funnel. Then add distilled water to the liquid level near the mark.
3. Tighten the sealing cap on the hydrogen output port on the rear panel of the high-purity hydrogen generator.
4. Connect the power supply and check the grounding terminal of the instrument power cord to ensure reliable grounding.
5. Start the high-purity hydrogen generator and observe the flow rate display (note: there may be fluctuations in the digital display of hydrogen production at the beginning of startup, which is a normal phenomenon).
6. The pressure gradually increases, and when the pressure reaches the set value, the digital display returns to zero and shows "000", indicating that the instrument is normal and no longer producing hydrogen.
7. After starting up normally, first turn off the machine, then remove the sealing cap on the hydrogen outlet, connect it to the instrument through a pipeline, and ensure that the sealing joint does not leak. Then start the instrument and wait for the pressure to reach the set pressure before use.
There are some things to note in these steps, such as placing the high-purity hydrogen generator on the workbench for easy observation and operation, not allowing the high-purity hydrogen generator to run for a long time (more than 5 minutes) under zero pressure, regularly observing the discoloration of the drying tube, and timely replacing the discoloration silicone gel, etc. Don't underestimate these details, doing them well can greatly improve work efficiency.
